Vidya’s uniqueness lies in her ability to create and perform her distinctive mash-ups of Indian and Western songs. Born in Chennai, as Vidya Iyer, the Indian-American singer migrated to Virginia in the United States along with her parents when she was 8.

Apart from this, Vidya Vox has also released some originals and an EP. The Indian-America singer released her debut EP in 2016. In fact, this one contained a lot of mixed-genre songs highlighting different cultures through music. The name of her debut EP is ‘Kuthu Fire’.
In addition to all this, the Indian-American singer has performed in several stages across the globe.
