The Pondicherry Art Akademy is holding an art exhibition of works by female artists at Muttukadu. The 5th National Women Artists’ Group Show is inspirational and narrative. In fact, the art exhibition displays works from 70 women from different backgrounds.
The founder of the Art Academy, Sridalaadevi G, believes in women empowerment in the art field. Hence, she took the initiative and created this unique platform.

The Pondicherry Art Akademy Group Exhibition is going to be open till March 30 at the Varija Gallery, Dakshina Chitra, Muttukadu from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. Tuesday is a holiday.
The Exhibition
The art exhibition displays different varieties of art pieces. Chiquita Ravi portrayed a woman who needs to be freed through her work while Charumathi’s ‘Dotted Queen’ is a recreated version of Mona Lisa. Charumathi uses Pointillism to depict her artworks. Also, Chiquita Ravi is one of the three award winners of the exhibition this year. Kanchan Murhekar’s ‘In the Lap of the mountain’ won the second award. Vaishnavi Shankhwalkar from Goa colored her acrylic to depict nature. She is third award winner among the three.
